Participants in this 8 week program range from ages 8-16 and the number of participants is growing. In our youth program, boxers develop and hone boxing and training skills. AMATEUR PROGRAM

This program offers team training, personalized coaching, drills for specific technique improvement, sparring, and the chance to compete in an amateur boxing match. This program is led by Coach Tim Kelly and Coach Henry Kaester, two experienced, open class boxers, with even more experience coaching. This program includes four training sessions per week: Tuesdays 6pm, Wednesdays 6pm, Friday 5:45pm, & Saturdays 9am. *We cannot guarantee an individual will compete, this is contingent upon each person’s
ability, doctor authorization / pass a physical, matching of other competitive boxers, and other
factors.*

Learn to Spar

When: Tuesdays & Fridays, 6:45pm

CLASSES

Boxing

In this class, participants learn the proper boxing stance, jab and power punch techniques. This class also offers hardcore cardio and endurance training, building strength, calisthenics and plyometric drills, and core strength training.

KETTLEBELL

ROC Boxing and Fitness is the first gym to offer structured kettlebell classes. In our gym, we use Russian kettlebell in strength and conditioning training for members and boxers alike. Kettlebell has been proven invaluable for improving muscular strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity. Studies record that kettlebell training achieves marked results in half the time. Kettlebell classes are designed to be adaptable, making them ideal for all fitness levels β€” from beginners to advanced athletes. Our classes, designed for beginners as well as more advanced participants and are 45 minutes long. The classes are lead by certified and well experienced kettlebell instructors.

Kettlebox

Kettlebox is a unique class which was developed at ROC Boxing, by Coach Dom. This class combines the power and muscular endurance of Kettlebell training and the explosive high calorie burn of boxing.

Bootcamp

Unleash your inner fighter with our innovative class, designed to blend the skills of boxing and kettlebell into one powerhouse workout. You will build upon the foundations of technique, as you learn to master the tools of the trade and build confidence. With a focus on proper form and steady progression, you’ll leave each class feeling empowered and accomplished. This class includes both boxing, body weight, and kettlebell components.

LITTLE PUNCHERS
Roc Boxing will be running pop-up Little Punchers Class designed for children ages 4-8. The Little Punchers Boxing Program is a non-contact boxing classes designed and ran by Coach Dana. These classes are fun for boys and girls across our community and promote lifelong habits of physical activity.
We have integrated motor skill drills, boxing techniques, educational activities and important life skills in a curriculum that gets the children excited, and eager to learn the fundamentals of boxing. Using structured session design and unique approaches, we introduce children to boxing in a way that is educational and exciting. We focus on social skills, self-confidence, teamwork, discipline and physical well being.
With 20 years in business we have first hand experienced with how youth boxing programs helps build self esteem, as well as promote the benefits of health and wellness early on for our youth. We help kids understand that there are no limits. We promote teamwork and camaraderie. Our youth program helps develop champions in and out of the ring of life.
There’s simply no better way to help your child build confidence, respect, and discipline than with our high-energy kids boxing classes.
Boxing is a great way to build fundamental athletic skills in kids of all ages. Whether your child wants to train in their off season or they’re hoping to take on a new activity and challenge themselves, we’ve got the answer.
Our Kids Boxing Classes teach elements of the sport like proper punching techniques, the correct boxing stance, and footwork. But we also offer incredible skills that carry over into any sport or hobby.

This is a child drop off program. We ask of the parents that they don’t wait in the gym during the youth classes. Parents are welcome back in to watch the last 15 minutes of class.
